The flipped classroom refers to the reversal of the traditional way of delivering content. Instead of the information being presented during class time, online teachings are created by the teacher and accessed by the student in there own time. This is ideally done before the ensuing lesson relating to the content accessed by the student. This intern will leave class time fully devoted to exercises, projects or discussions. 7 Things you should know about the Flipped Classroom
How can I help?
How many times has you child come home with homework they are unable to understand? You may have sat with them and tried to help but you couldn't. What about when you have tried to help and you are hit with "we don't do it that way anymore, you are doing it wrong". The beauty of the flipped classroom is that you too can watch the content and provide assistance to your child if need be. You can get a feel for the way the teacher presents the topic and feel more confident in providing help. Additionally viewing video content is a task all students can complete and all parents can support.
